The 8 and 9-grade students were given a project task – to walk around the town of Sliač, take pictures and put them together to make a nice collage or make a short video about the town main places, buildings or areas.

The pupils worked hard and as they are now on distance learning at home due to covid time, they could walk around the city after lessons.

They visited the most typical places of the town, and after that, they worked with the library or online resources to find out some interesting information about the town and its beauties.

The aim of the activity was to motivate pupils to turn their ideas into action. To use their creativity and interactivity to promote their town to others. They could contribute to make our town more visible to local community, to present their point of view and highlighted the top places here.  The output of their work is a e-book with collages and short videos in Slovak and English. Thanks to the activity they also improved their ICT skills. To sum up, by their work they showed us they are proud citizens of the Sliač town.
