This action has been carried out in our school for several years. The aim is to raise money for an association working for disabled people and to raise awareness of the difficulties disabled people have to face. The students are asked to collect plastic caps and bring them to the school. These plastic caps, instead of risking being left in nature, are given to an association which sells them for recycling and uses the money to buy equipment for disabled people.

This year too, the pupils from the Erasmus+ group took responsibility for the action. Some went to see the school principal to inform her and ask for prior authorisation .  Another group created posters advertising the action that were displayed everywhere in the school. And the last group visited every class to give information about the action.

All the students’ families were informed by e-mails. The container is permanently in the school hall.

In June, a representative from the association : « Handi-Quentin de Warhem » (which works to improve people with reduced mobility’s everyday life.) came to our school to pick up the plastic caps with the help of the students from the Erasmus+ group.

The students were very active and showed a great sense of resonsibility.

The action is always a great success every year and the results are always far beyond our expectations since the containeris filled after a very short period of time. The students  were very proud of their action.
