: On Friday February 11, 2022, the CP and 6th grade classes participated in a morning waste collection on one of the beaches of the Baie Mahault geological reserve. Accompanied by Aurélie RAMSAMY, Education and Sustainable Development Facilitator for the Tité association, the little ones from CP and the older ones from 6th grade were able, armed with gloves and large hessian bags in the colors of the Reserve, to collect the waste washed up on the beach near the Baie Mahault lighthouse. Each 6th grade student was responsible for a CP student in order to set up a dynamic framework. It is with great enthusiasm that they embarked on this collection: ropes, old shoes, toothbrushes, micro pieces of plastic. The objects collected were varied, as were the materials: wood, plastics, glass, ceramics, metal... At the end of this morning, 8 bags were filled: bag 1: 6.63kg, bag 2: 6.9kg, bag 3: 13.75kg, bag 4: 8.31kg, bag 5: 10.52kg, bag 6: 7.37kg, bag 7: 2.10kg, bag 8: 8.63kg i.e. a total of 64.21 KG of waste collected.
